Locknest

Locknest

Lock in. Tune out.

What Locknest is

A digital-wellbeing app for Android that keeps you out of the apps that eat your time — during work, study, or before bed — and shows you where your screen time really goes.

Everything works without an account. Your rules, your run-time and your usage stay on your phone; we only receive an anonymous install ID so we can ship updates and configuration.

What it does

📅

Schedules

Block chosen apps — or every app — in a time window, under a daily usage limit, after a number of opens, at a location, or all day. Repeat weekly, on one date, or across a date range. Start from a template in one tap.

⏱️

Quick Block

Need focus right now? Pick apps and a timer, or run Pomodoro rounds with breaks. It ends on its own — no schedule needed.

🔒

Strict Mode

Lock your rules for 12 hours to a week so you can't turn them off in a weak moment. Choose a PIN exit, or no early exit at all.

📈

Insights

Screen time by hour, by day and as a trend, your most-used apps, a weekly report, and an optional mood check-in.

🔐

App Lock

Put a PIN on apps like banking or chat, and on Locknest itself.

👨‍👩‍👧

Family controls

With an account, a parent can manage a child's device: set downtime and blocks remotely and see their screen time. Children are never shown ads.

Free, funded by ads you choose to watch

Locknest runs on run-time points: one point per day you use it. You start with a balance and top up by watching a short rewarded ad or by inviting a friend — nothing to buy, ever.

15free days to start
2 ads= 1 more day
4days a day at most
+10days for you and a friend
+15days with a free account

Days you don't use roll over and never expire. Points have no cash value and can't be bought — see the Terms & Conditions.

Your privacy

Screen-time data read through Android Usage Access stays on your device unless a parent manages that device. We never sell personal data, and ads are shown only when you choose to watch one. The full Privacy Policy lists exactly what we collect and why.

Requirements

Android 8.0 or newer. To block apps Locknest needs Usage Access (to know which app is open) and permission to draw over other apps (to show the block screen); notifications are optional. The app asks for each one and explains it before the system prompt.
